The Sweet for All Ages collection reinforces the positioning of both brands in “making adults and children happy”
Vans has announced a partnership with Haribo to launch the new “Sweet for All Ages” collection, which aims to reinforce the positioning of both brands in “making children and adults happy”.
The “Vans x Haribo” collaboration includes candy, sneakers, apparel and accessories with custom prints inspired by Haribo’s Goldbear bear.
As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Haribo Goldbears in 2020, we are excited to introduce this partnership with Vans. Haribo is present in moments of happiness and fun for children, but it also aims to make fans feel like a kid again in a candy store through our variety of sweets. The Vans x Haribo collection inspires the same feeling, and now we can unite our fans with creativity and enable creative self-exploration, said Andreas Kuhnle, senior vice president of global corporate marketing for Haribo.
The children’s collection will feature the classic Slip-On in the color Haribo Goldbears Red and an embossed appliqué with foam. Next, the Vans x Haribo Pullover, in True Red incorporates Haribo’s Goldbears skate over both brand logos in true Vans style. The long-sleeved shirt in Sky Blue cotton and the Twill Snapback cap in True Red with a print on the front make up the Vans x Haribo collection.
Another classic that makes up the children’s collection is the Old Skool V, in Haribo Yellow Checkerboard. The upper highlights the Goldbears Checkerboard on the shoe’s sides and features the phrase The Happy World of Haribo on the side of the shoe’s sole. Plus, the iconic Vans sidestripe alternates colors to represent the famous Goldbears hues.
Completing the products for the children’s line, the collection will also feature a sweatshirt in Sky Blue, which features the Haribo Goldbears and finished with the Haribo and Vans logos printed on the left sleeve.
The adult collection includes Vans x Haribo Sk8-Hi in Haribo Black, Vans x Haribo Fleece Pullover in Black, Vans x Haribo Old Skool V in Yellow Checkerboard and Vans x Haribo Hoodie in Sky Blue. The Sk8-Hi in Haribo Black is re-introduced with the slogan Kids and adults alike love the happy world of Haribo.
The black Vans x Haribo Fleece Pullover is displayed with both brands’ logos, while paying homage to the Haribo packaging with NET WT 66 OZ printed on the back.
