Among the points evaluated are autonomy and participation, burnout, volume of demand, among others.
Created by the startup Zenklub, the Corporate Wellbeing Index showed that the service sector, which includes agencies, consultancies and martechs, has a good IBC index.
Throughout 2022, the analysis collected information from more than 300 companies from 12 different segments, such as technology, finance, logistics, real estate, education and health.
Among the 12 sectors analyzed, services occupy the second place in the annual average of the IBC, second only to technology. Still, his score, which is 68.3, is below the ideal, which is at least 78 points.
Among the nine fronts evaluated by the IBC, workers in the area declared very low rates of disconnection from work and conflicts in the corporate environment.
The dimension with the worst score was Constant Concern, which reflects how difficult it is for employees to disconnect from their professional routine when they are not on their workday. In this facet, the sector ranked seventh.
Developed by Zenklub’s corporate education, medicine and psychology teams, in partnership with psychometrists from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the IBC assesses nine different facets: conflicts and abusive situations, constant preoccupation with work, disconnection from work, autonomy and participation, exhaustion/burnout, volume of demand, relationship with leader, relationship with colleagues and clarity of responsibilities.
