Julio Xavier, one of the greatest directors of Brazilian cinema and advertising, founder of Bossa Nova Films, passed away this Friday (28). Among his works, emphasis is given to directing the film “Meu Primeiro Bra”, created by Washington Olivetto for Valisre and elected one of the 11 best commercials in world advertising.
Xavier was also the first Brazilian director to win a Leo de Film at Cannes Lions. The burial of the body will take place this Saturday (29), starting at 12:00 pm, and the burial at 3:00 pm at Gethsamani, Morumbi, in So Paulo.
