Get your popcorn because there’s a good series coming! Star+ presents the trailer and poster for “Planners”, the new comedy-drama series from the Star Original Productions label, which will arrive in its entirety exclusively on Star+ in Latin America and Disney streaming worldwide this Friday (5) .
Directed by Pegsa, the new original production stars Celeste Cid and is directed by Daniel Barone. They lead the cast, alongside Cid, Leticia Siciliani, Gonzalo Valenzuela and Guillermo Pfening. The series is executive produced by event planner Argentine Bárbara Diez, and was filmed in different locations in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The series has as showrunner Pablo Bossi, who also works as a screenwriter alongside Mariana Wainstein, María Zanetti and Luz Marquez. The cast of “Planners” is completed by Matías Recalt (Javier Gutiérrez), Marcos Montes (Ray), Claudio Da Passano (Lito Carregal) and Luz Palazón (Verónica).
Comprising nine 45-minute episodes, “Planners” follows the story of Malena Carregal (Celeste Cid), a woman who, after divorcing Marcos Gutiérrez (Gonzalo Valenzuela), leaves her job at the renowned agency for organizing corporate events in her ex husband. Thanks to the encouragement of Cali (Leticia Siciliani), an energetic friend from the past, Malena embarks on a new career to carry out the project she has always dreamed of: opening her own agency for organizing social events. With Cali as a partner and the addition of a famous interior designer (Guillermo Pfening) to the team, Malena will use all her knowledge and expertise to build her agency, get it off the ground and face all the challenges and conflicts that come with organizing a party. unforgettable.
The series combines elements of comedy, drama and romance, presenting the challenges of entering the business world from the point of view of the protagonist, Malena. “Planners” is a story that celebrates the realization of new projects and the strength of teamwork, in addition to revealing the efforts and dedication behind the events area.
