Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra has 113 authors and real stories.
A group of 350 women, who are part of a movement fighting for gender equality called Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra, got together to produce a homonymous work that materializes its strategic pillars: inclusion, diversity, ESG, purpose, career and personal development.
This book cannot be just a work, it needs to be a manual that teaches us and shows us that we have a new path to follow, much more just and equal, says Edu Lyra, on the cover of volume 1 of the work.
The second volume of Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra follows on from the first, which gained bestseller status upon release. With the subtitle “Without knowing it was impossible, they did it”, the book shows the strength of the collective, and is coordinated by Christiane Pelajo, Ana Ferraz, Daniela De Luca, Fabiana Raulino, Flvia Lippi, Roberta Suplicy and Natasha de Caiado Castro.
The complete work (volumes 1 and 2) features 113 authors, C-suite executives, superintendents, businesswomen, journalists, influencers and celebrities. They are women from different areas of activity, ages, origins, races and locations who act as catalysts for inclusion and transformation projects so that new generations can have a fairer path. More than 2,000 women are on the waiting list to participate in the movement and for future publications.
The authors report passages on overcoming harassment, illness, prejudice, ageism, tell how they founded organizations, talk about fears, give tips on how to pull and be pulled, how the network system drives their lives and, mainly, tell the achievements showing possible paths, based on Empathy, Ethics and Generosity.
The launch of Volume 2 and the autograph session for the authors of the two volumes will take place at Artefacto Beach & Country, in So Paulo, on May 17th, starting at 7 pm, in a space open to the public.
The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and the Literare Books Store.
