Cadu Aun’s mission is to accelerate the development of new projects and strengthen the company’s relationship with brands
Mynd announces the arrival of Cadu Aun as the new Vice President of Operations and Sales Planning and Arts.
With more than 20 years of career and extensive experience in the digital universe, the executive’s mission will be to accelerate the development of new projects and strengthen the company’s relationship with brands, aiming to help them develop a strategy that makes their communication more dynamic and legit.
“Today, brands are the property of many influencers and artists to talk about them. But, from my point of view, they still lack legitimacy, which will only be built from dialogue. My intention is to create a robust structure, which is prepared for the demands from the advertising and influence marketing market, to develop even more innovative and relevant projects in the long term, explained the agency’s new executive.
The new VP intends to customize the structure according to market needs, making the strategy clearer at each stage.
We are in a process of accelerating the business, bringing qualified professionals to increasingly strengthen the company in the market. First, we brought in José Cirilo, as CMO, and now Cadu, who has extensive digital expertise to help us build an area that is more integrated with the various business demands. A while ago, Mynd moved beyond the role of just connecting brands to influencers. Today, we have developed a business model for brands, which is closely related to the Creator Economy. There are already many startups that we promote through influencer marketing, doing a 360 work. Cadu arrives to make this language even clearer, said Ftima Pissarra, CEO of Mynd.
Cadu started his career at Portal Vrgula, from the Jovem Pan group and, over the nine years he worked at the vehicle, he acquired knowledge about what is needed to build a business. His second experience was with Terra, where Cadu felt the need to have a more robust executive body and he managed to carry out major negotiations and agreements – such as, for example, negotiations for the transmission of the London 2012 Olympic Games – staying for four years in the company.
He then moved to Twitter, where he stayed for 10 years before joining Mynd. At first, Cadu helped with the growth and structuring of Twitter’s operation in Brazil, positioning the social network in the market, which was a challenge due to the relationship with advertising agencies. Afterwards, he structured the sales area, finally occupying the position of Director of Sales and Planning.
