Ben & Jerry’s se uniu ao Instituto [SSEX BBOX] to support the 2023 Trans Pride Mark of So Paulo, which will take place on June 9, at Largo do Arouche.
The brand will donate R$ 1 for every real donated to the crowdfunding campaign entitled “The transformation is in a brand”, which will make it possible to carry out the new edition of the brand that also includes the Trans Fair. Through the campaign, the company intends to speed up the achievement of the goal established to make the event possible.
The campaign, in addition to bringing information about the reality of the Brazilian trans population, invites Ben & Jerrys fans to become part of social transformation, putting activism into practice, as any construction of collective social change and companies are not exempt from this movement. , said Ananda Puchta, responsible for the Activism and Social Mission portfolio at Ben & Jerrys.
In 2022, the march reached more than 600,000 people from inside and outside the country, with online content and a live event that gained visibility on major media platforms, newspapers and TV stations. In person, more than 16,000 people and companies were present at events dedicated to discussing security, rights, entrepreneurship and employability of transgender people.
