Mynd, the largest travel agency marketing of influence and entertainment in Latin America, announces the arrival of Cadu Aun as the new Vice President of Operations and Sales and Artistic Planning. With more than 20 years of career and extensive experience in the digital universe, the executive arrives to accelerate the development of new projects and further strengthen the company’s relationship with brands, helping them to develop a strategy that makes their communication more dynamic and legitimate.
At Mynd, Cadu saw the opportunity to contribute to a relatively new segment that is still under construction.
“Today, brands give ownership to various influencers and artists to talk about them. But, from my point of view, there is still a lack of legitimacy, which will only be built through dialogue. My intention is to create a robust structure, which is prepared for the demands of the advertising market and marketing of influence, to develop even more innovative and relevant projects in the long term”, he comments.
The intention of the new VP is to customize the structure according to the needs of the market, making the strategy clearer at each stage. According to him, Mynd has a potential that goes beyond building content with the influencer, being able to outline even broader plans for its clients, which aim at the performance of the brands as a whole.
“We are in a process of accelerating the business, bringing qualified professionals to increasingly strengthen the company in the market. First, we brought in José Cirilo, as CMO, and now Cadu, who has a wide expertise in digital, to help us build an area that is more integrated with the various business demands. Mynd has moved beyond the role of just connecting brands to influencers for a while now. Today, we have developed a business model for brands, which is very much related to Creator Economy. There are already many startups that we push through marketing of influence, doing a 360° job. Cadu arrives to make this language even clearer”, explains Fátima Pissarra, CEO of Mynd.
Cadu began his career at Portal Vírgula, from the Jovem Pan group, where he was able to gain a lot of experience thanks to his experience in all sectors. Over the nine years he worked at the vehicle, he acquired knowledge about what is needed to build a business, leaving there as a leader in the areas of content, digital, finance and advertising.
His second experience was with Terra, the portal that dominated internet advertising investments at the time. During this period, Cadu felt the need to have a more robust executive body, and there he managed to carry out major negotiations and agreements, staying at the company for four years.
He then moved to Twitter, where he stayed for 10 years before joining Mynd. At first, Cadu helped with the growth and structuring of Twitter’s operation in Brazil, positioning the social network in the market, which was a challenge due to the relationship with advertising agencies. Afterwards, he structured the sales area, finally occupying the position of Director of Sales and Planning.
