Launch campaign made in celebration of the live-action premiere
Jewelry company Pandora captures the essence of universal friendship and curiosity with the launch of its new collaboration with Disney. The collection arrives with seven designs that bring to life the new perspectives of the reimagined classic, defending the empowerment and female independence so present in the story of The Little Mermaid.
The inspiration of Pandora’s creative directors, A. Filippo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo, were themes explored in the new film adaptation, creating a collection centered on Ariel’s curiosity and sense of freedom.
“Our inspiration was drawn from the diverse characters and friendships that strengthen Ariel’s story,” said Ficarelli.
“We wanted to be faithful to live-action, in addition to giving the pieces a more realistic representation. On Sebastio’s charm, for example, one claw is bigger than the other, just like on real male crabs”, adds Terzo.
The collection will be available from May 25th globally in Pandora’s physical and e-commerce stores.
