Can you imagine what the Sun would actually sound like if it could sing? Magnum, brand of ice cream created by experts in chocolate, teamed up with the National Aeronautics And Space Administration (NASA) and producer Alex Metric to launch a remix Golden Hour exclusive by viral artist on TikTok, JVKE, during the traditional Cannes Film Festival. The special version of the track incorporates real sounds from the Sun, made available by the US Agency for Aeronautics and Space.
The song was released on Monday (22) on Magnum platforms. Jake Lawson, also known by his stage name JVKE, is an American songwriter, singer, producer and influencer who had his songs viral on TikTok during the Covid-19 pandemic, and became a worldwide phenomenon. Author of “Golden Hour”, hit which reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, the artist was invited by Magnum to produce a remix of the music using information from the sound of the sun’s rays made available by NASA, with production by Alex Metric.
The brand is present at the Cannes Film Festival, in France, with activations and the special presence of influencer Federico Devito, who is recording everything that happens there for Instagram, in another year of partnership with Magnum.
One of the already traditional activations provided by the brand at the Festival is Magnum Beach, stage of closed experiences for guests. This year, under the theme “Sunrise and Moonlight”, influencers and celebrities participate in exclusive actions and parties, in addition to a press conference with JVKE about the backstage of music and the partnership with the brand, followed by a live performance of the new track.
“Being able to return to Playa Magnum and once again follow the events during a festival as important as Cannes, sharing it all with those who are faithful to pleasure, is incredible. I believe it will be an even more intense experience than the previous year and I look forward to the attractions of this edition”, says Devito.
As for Camilla Conti, head of Unilever’s Ice category Marketing, counts as the exclusive launch of a remix at one of the biggest audiovisual events in the world demonstrates the strength of Magnum’s message in making everything more special.
