For Alok, philanthropy and sustainability are part of his DNA. Joining the artist, 2W Ecobank, renewable energy generator and trader, embarks on this mission, zeroing the show’s emissions through clean energy certificates and carbon credits.
In addition to compensation, 2W has a scope of sustainability and clean energy solutions, which will allow DJs to be 100% sustainable in all their actions. Another point that brought the company and the DJ together was 2W’s concern with linking all of its generation projects to social and reforestation actions. With mutual values and objectives, the partnership was established with strength to carry out great social and environmental changes.

The project started at DJ Alok’s concert in Salvador, on May 13th, and now it will be Belo Horizonte’s turn, on May 27th. The compensation calculation considers the emissions generated with transport, including air, diesel generators, and the energy that is consumed in the network.
