Record TV, PlayPlus and R7.com have 10 works and three professionals running for the prize
Promax, an international association that brings together the main companies in the entertainment market, announced the finalists for the award that is held annually to distinguish the best works and professionals in Latin America.
In the 2023 edition, Grupo Record stands out as one of the companies with the most nominations, of the 19 pieces entered, 13 are finalists, 10 of which are productions and three are professionals.
Those selected by the Promax jury are divided into several categories. In Creativity in Marketing, Grupo Record received nominations in the following categories:
- News and Updates: Documentaries Misso Ucrnia and Dyakuyu Thank you, both from PlayPlus and Pginas do Jornalismo, made for the Retrospectiva 2022 program, on Record TV.
- Website Brand Image or Promotional Film for App: Filmes Tempo and Social Networks of Record TV.
- Documentary Calls: Lynchings, by PlayPlus.
- Reality Show Calls: Production A Ilha Tubares, from Record TV.
- Sports Calls: Paulisto 2022 A Bola, from Record TV.
- Chamadas de Telenovela: Promotional film Reis A Coroa, produced for the third season of the super production, A Rejeio, by Record TV.
- Art and Design Direction: Modalidade Aperture, with the work done for the sixth season of Reis A Conquista.
Promax 2023 also includes, in Special Categories, a highlight for Best New Talents. Among the five nominated professionals, three are from Record TV, and compete with pieces made for the premiere of programs on the station: Gustavo Caleffi with the call of A Fazenda 14; Bruna Vivolo with the film Chicago Med; and Bárbara Pilo with production for the Chicago Fire series.
Promotional works from large companies such as: Paramonunt+, Netflix, Warner Bros., Televisa and NBC, among others, also competed for the awards. Winners will be announced on June 22nd.
