Over the four years, the partnership allocated more than US$ 2.7 million, converted into education in more than 3.4 thousand municipalities in the country
Lenovo reinforced its social commitment for the fourth consecutive year by announcing the renewal of its partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute.
Together since 2019, the companies aim to join efforts to promote and invest in the training and improvement of education managers and professionals in Brazil, as well as recognizing the potential of Brazilian students.
Lenovo works responsibly to develop a fairer and more inclusive society by offering smarter and more innovative technology and changing the reality in the markets where it operates, also through philanthropy. It is an immense pride to renew the partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, to overcome obstacles to quality education and prepare teachers and young people for the challenges of the future, said Ricardo Bloj, president of Lenovo Brazil.
For each Lenovo piece of equipment sold in retail or e-commerce, a contribution is made in support of the Institute’s projects. Over these four years, the partnership allocated more than 2.7 million dollars, converted into quality education in more than 3.4 thousand municipalities throughout the country.
Brazilian education is marked by historical challenges and has become even more fragile as a result of the pandemic. For Brazil to advance in social and economic aspects, it is necessary to place education at the center of our development agenda, uniting government, civil society and private organizations. Lenovo is a company that understands its role in building a consistent future for the country, and shares our desire to impact thousands of children and young people with quality education every year, comments Viviane Senna, President of the Ayrton Senna Institute.
To stimulate the debate on education in Brazil, Lenovo is promoting for another year, with the support of the Institute, the web series “The Future of Education”.
In the campaign, Felipe Castanhari, presenter, director and creator of Canal Nostalgia and the Mundo Mistério series, discusses the importance of technology in the pedagogical development of students and teachers, in addition to the cultural, economic, scientific and social growth of children and adolescents through education.
