Artistic intervention is part of the celebrations for the character’s 60th birthday
The gable of Edificio Liege, located on Rua da Consolao, in Pacaembu, was transformed into a large comic strip celebrating the 60th birthday of the strongest character in comics. The art starring Mnica, Magali, Cebolinha, Casco, Milena, Denise and Chico Bento also features special appearances by Jotalho and Louco in their natural habitat: the world of the moon.
Created by Mauricio de Sousa Produes in partnership with Innova AATB, an independent advertising agency, Panini, Gol and Dionisio.ag, the artistic intervention is part of a series of activities that will travel throughout Brazil, for a year, to celebrate the anniversary of creation of the character Mnica.
The initiative also plans to take giant strips to the gables of buildings in other cities across the country, inviting even more people to participate in this great celebration. Monica’s strip on the gable of the Pacaembu building will be on display for a year and can be seen by everyone who passes through the region.
