Is it luxury that speaks? From a coffee bean, Cartier has created a solar collection of absolute elegance, which has just been launched. The creations, crafted in yellow gold, combine the glamor of the 1950s French Riviera with the radiant beauty of Grace Kelly. Inspiration was drawn from the heart of the Maison’s stylistic vocabulary, based on two elements prized at Cartier: flora crafted in yellow gold and precious turning.
To honor Grace Kelly, the iconic Hollywood star, Cartier turned to American director Alex Prager, whose sensibility resonates with the collection’s codes. Thanks to its work with light, the brand managed to bring a resolutely contemporary tone to the glamorous spirit of the 1950s, embodied by actress Elle Fanning, Global Ambassador for the Maison and face of the ‘Grain de Café’ collection.

Play with the pendants, multiply the shine. For the jewelers, the aim was to combine the movement of shiny curls and the sensuality of the materials, which offer an invitation to the touch. To achieve this result, 30 artisans participated in the creation of this collection, and more than 60 prototypes were needed.
With brightness, light and mobility, the ‘Grain de Café’ collection radiates a solar aura on the skin. Mounted as pendants on rings, earrings or necklaces, the coffee beans, studded with diamonds, move at the slightest movement. The pieces are part of a limited edition.
