Speaker of the campaign created by Artplan together with bookmakers in favor of the integrity of the sport
Those who followed the matches of the Brazilian series A and B over the weekend saw that the phrase “Respect Football” was present on the shirts of the players of some teams, as well as in the space that would be sponsored by Bet. The action was part of the #RespeitaOFutebol movement, an initiative created by the Artplan agency in partnership with the betting sites Aposta Ganha, Betano, Betfast.io, Bet Nacional, Esportes da Sorte, Estrela Bet, Mr. Jack.Bet, Pagbet, Parimatch and Pixbet.
The purpose of the cause is to encourage conscious and regulated play based on actions that mobilize a support network made up of teams, athletes, fans and all people who have an emotional connection with football. The activations were designed to directly impact the public, with messages that strengthen integrity and passion for the sport, spread on shirts, LED panels and banners.
As part of the movement, a manifesto film narrated by Galvo Bueno was created to give voice to supporters who ask for respect for their clubs, passions and traditions. The campaign has the special participation of players Zico, Marcelinho Carioca, Hulk, Petkovi, Velloso, among other stars. The team of influencers brings names like Dan Lessa and Milene Domingues, who contributed to the movement by addressing the topic on their social networks.
Flamengo, Fluminense, Vasco, Ponte Preta, Grmio, Sport, Bahia, Cear, Inter and Club Athletico Paranaense were part of the group of 21 teams that adhered to the manifesto. “Promoting a campaign like this is fundamental to reaffirm that values such as integrity, respect, ethics and honesty are non-negotiable, not only in sport but in life. The sports market, especially football, is an industry with a lot of tradition, seriousness and trust. It is our duty to support the fight against any type of irregularity”, says Wesley Cardia, CEO of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL).
In addition to the 100% digital film, the action has a landing page, which provides information about the movement, and Instagram, where fans will have the opportunity to upload videos or photos to create cards that can be shared in their own stories with the phrase “Respect the ____”, supplemented with the best word defined by the user.
