“Mestres da Real” initiative promotes digital education with practical methodology and famous influencers
Just over a month after announcing Mestres da Real, a project made in partnership between Play9 and Descomplica, the first available course will be taught by Tino Marcos, a journalist who left Globo and joined the Play9 casting in 2021.
Under the theme “Video Production, Editing and Reporting”, the course has limited spaces, duration of four weeks, 20 hours and a price of R$ 29.90 per month to make it really accessible. Applications close on January 23.
At the conclusion of the course, anyone who wants to can submit their project on the platform for a selection process to receive funding – financial, mentoring or dissemination. “The teachings come in an attractive, short and practical format and will contribute to the construction of a consistent career for those who do it”, says Tino Marcos. “It’s the kind of course I would have loved to have taken early in my career.”
Tino Marcos tells PROPMARK that the work was done by many hands, but that he had complete freedom to choose the topics for each module and give the final text to all classes. “I had a super dedicated team of screenwriters, who helped me to delve deeper into the themes I was proposing. It was a load of work beyond what I imagined, but it was very fulfilling in the end”, he says.
For the journalist, the issue of affordable value was one of the aspects that most motivated him to participate in the project. “For bringing knowledge to more people, for opening more doors. My joy is looking at the final result and concluding: this is what I wanted to have at the beginning of my career”, he reflects.
Tino also says that he tried to be the best teacher possible, with messages that were always clear and based on his way of doing and creating. “I’m very excited and curious about the students’ return. I’m sure there will be many good people along the way.”
The idea of the project is to offer courses with high-performing professionals in their fields and to have an impact on the audience by “sending the real thing”: explaining in practice how they got there, telling what is not taught at school and indicating how Students could open or expand a project, achieve a goal or learn more about a particular subject.
Over the next few months, Felipe Neto, Fátima Bernardes, Daiane dos Santos, Paola Carosella, Nina Silva, Pedro Tourinho, Silvio Almeida, Carol Barcellos and Professor Noslen will also participate.
