The ‘Digitalks Expo’ is an event about Digital Marketing, Technology, Innovation, Creativity and Business. But it is also an event about values and their importance in the market. And in this context, Adnews presents, with exclusivity, the partnership between the main Brazilian company in the democratization of digital knowledge and Misses At Work, a São Paulo collective composed of executives from the areas of Communication and Digital Media, which was formed to debate and seek solutions for female challenges in the market.
The partnership comes to strengthen the ‘Women in the Digital Universe’ movement, created by Digitalks to encourage female executives to bring their talks to the event or indicate female speakers they would like to hear.
Even today, many companies do not have adequate gender representation in their workforce, especially in leadership and decision-making positions.
Diversity in the digital universe is extremely important for the sake of social justice, in addition to being a factor of competitive advantage for companies. Therefore, the ‘Digitalks Expo 2023’ wants to bring more women to the stage of the event, to talk about the themes that dominate and be inspiration for the new generation, promoting the discussion about gender equality in the market, directly contributing to the transformation of this scenario.
“As a woman in the Communication market, I recognize the vital importance of this partnership and I greatly value Digitalks’ commitment to investing in changing the female scenario. Misses At Work is made up of real women in the market, exactly those who are in the process of establishing their careers and looking for better positions. We share the same mission of identifying gaps in professional relationships and proposing solutions, and the partnership with Digitalks, as it already is with Adnews, brings immense strength to expand this inescapable agenda”, explains Dani Mozer (Photo)one of the leaders of the collective.
Over 14 years of history, powerful women have stepped onto the Digitalks stages. Names like Tânia Cosentino, president of Microsoft in Brazil; journalist and host of reality culinary MasterChef Brasil, Ana Paula Padrão; the trans funk singer Pepita and the writer best seller Martha Gabriel, who is one of the speakers confirmed for this year’s edition, brought her experiences, knowledge and visions to add value to the event and show what a woman’s place really is in the business world.
“Empowering women and making them protagonists of the digital universe was one of the main pillars that we set as the objective of the event this year. Both bringing these presences to the stages and to the business environment as a whole”, says Maria Carvalhal (Photo)Director of Marketing at Digitalks.
O Misses At Work has the support of Adnews, responsible for making the “match” between Dani and Maria. It’s from the vehicle’s female spokesperson, Cathy Birle (Photo)the merit of acting as the “cupid” of this promising relationship, which is just beginning.
“The partnership between Dani and Maria was very obvious to me. I’m part of the collective, I’m a Miss, and I also have a history with Digitalks, and the purposes of both are identical and aligned to those of Adnews. I had no doubts when I thought about bringing these incredibly powerful women together, and I know that the greatest benefit from this partnership will be the Communication market”, he completes.
