MetLife, one of the largest financial services companies in the world, is the new sponsor of Teatro UOL, located at Shopping Pátio Higienópolis, in São Paulo (SP). This is the first time that the company supports a large venue in Brazil. With the partnership, the insurance company reinforces its commitment to convey the message about the importance of life insurance to families and the public of all ages, in addition to reinforcing its support for culture, since it was also a master sponsor of C6 Fest recently.
The two sponsorships add up to an investment of a few million, and in addition to valuing the tradition and relevance of the brand, they aim to use the space to explain to people about the use of life insurance, as a differential for protecting their families. The advertising campaigns launched in the last two years and the recurring support for social projects, via contributions from the MetLife Foundation, are other examples of this purpose.
“As we already do in other countries, we want to use our presence to significantly expand the development and access to art, culture and quality entertainment in Brazil. The project with Teatro UOL had been under study for some time, and fortunately, our partnership was successfully implemented”, celebrates MetLife Brazil’s Head of Marketing, Carolina Montanino.
In Brazil for over 20 years, MetLife has already been recognized for its strong performance in social and cultural projects, which educate families with a focus on financial protection.

With Teatro UOL, which has plays for adults and children, we can further democratize this message, contributing to the construction of a safer future”, concludes Carolina.
In addition to brand exposure in the theater spaces, on the website and in the communication materials for the shows, there will also be special actions for brokers, employees and participants in the social projects supported by the company.
