In the midst of its 22nd edition, Big Brother Brasil is not exactly a novelty for the public, participants or brands. Even so, sponsors prepare as if it were, with strategies for the most diverse situations, especially complex debates and cancellations, especially for the last two editions.
However, this edition already showed an unusual episode that required a good dose of flexibility from the advertiser.
During Lunch of the Angel, sponsored by 99, participant Rodrigo called the company Uber. The player noticed the error and corrected it shortly afterwards.
Immediately the networks – especially Twitter – were taken by memes and reactions from the public who understood the error problem.
But it wasn’t just viewers who reacted to the episode. A short time later, the companies entered the conversation using good humor to get around the situation and provoke the rival.
