Brands present collab that celebrates Brazilian representativeness and diversity
Havaianas is a Brazilian brand, which carries in its DNA all the energy and culture of our country in its more than 60 years of history. Dendezeiro, in turn, also celebrates diversity as one of its main DNA traits. After a successful partnership at the debut of Dendezeiro at fashion week, in 2022, Havaianas teams up again with the creative duo Hisan Silva and Pedro Batalha in the collab “Havaianas <3 Dendezeiro - Nossas cores".
The complete collection includes sandals, accessories and clothing. The debut took place at fashion week in So Paulo, in May, with official sales opening on June 21, in selected Havaianas stores and the e-comm of both brands. Advance sales are now available on the Havaianas website.
Havaianas is a brand that prides itself on working alongside promising designers who represent Brazilian fashion so well. The collab Havaianas <3 Dendezeiro - Our colors, values our land, our people, our colors and amplifies the northeastern culture and inspires people to be even more proud of their roots. a genuine way of showing the world that, if there is something that never goes out of style, our Brazilianness, comments Mariana Rhormens, marketing director of Havaianas Brasil.
The partnership between the brands began in June 2022, with the debut of Dendezeiro at São Paulo Fashion Week. Havaianas casual sneakers, the Havaianas TNS, featured the models in the fashion film recorded in Salvador (BA) and surroundings to publicize the Tabuleiro winter collection, by Dendezeiro. Soon after, the creative duo developed a style guide with Havaianas and Dendezeiro products harmonizing them in conceptual photos, which was used on Havaianas’ social networks.
The Nossas Cores collection, which we developed together with Havaianas, comes from a long study that Dendezeiro has been carrying out on the plurality and diversity of skin tones and bodies. It is a collab that is part of our third chapter of the Cor de Pele project and, realizing this together with Havaianas, which is a great benchmark when we talk about Brazilian identity and culture, amplifies the voice of this project and enhances it on another scale, says Hisan Silva and Pedro Batalha.
