A probiotic, Mark belonging to the Supley Group, joined Thiago Drews, popularly known by MTB and adventure racing lovers as Brou Bruto, an aficionado of social transformation through sport, for the Legado da Brutality project, which aims to establish once and for all this transformation through a collab of three years.
The beginning of the partnership will be an action focused on the environmental preservation of Serra da Canastra, a region considered by many as a paradise for mountain bike lovers. In addition to the contributions made by the brand, which are around R$ 100 thousand at this first moment, 5% of all sales made on the brand’s website with the “Legado” coupon, as well as those made by the brand at the brutality store will be destined to a selective collection project carried out in partnership with the Municipality of São João Batista do Glória, municipality of Minas Gerais. Activities will also be developed in schools and with local associations for promoting tourism.
Over the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, the Legacy of Brutality still intends to address other issues relevant to society, such as the empowerment of women in sport and the importance of physical activity in childhood.
Probiótica has been investing in actions that aim to strengthen the community passionate about endurance modalities and preserve the environment. The brand also adopted ESG practices, recycling waste from the manufacturing process of Carb Up Gel, leader in the category of carbogels in Brazil, which are reused and become tiles used in the construction of popular houses or energy use in ovens.
These and other movements endorsed the company to receive the Eu Reciclo seal, the largest reverse logistics certifier in the country and which, through it, generates recognition and appreciation from the public that is increasingly concerned about the environmental impacts of its consumption.
To advance this mission even further, the partnership with Thiago Brou, who has stood out for “brutal madness”, as defined by the athlete, to change the world, aims to improve social realities through sport.
The idea with the partnership is to mobilize not only those passionate about cycling, but to strengthen the movement with influencers and athletes from other modalities.
For Mariane Morelli, founding partner of Grupo Supley, the partnership with Brou only confirms the consistent work of the brand, which aims to contribute to the national sports scene, without abdicating the transforming power that sport has.
For Thiago Brou, the beginning of the partnership with Probiótica, and especially the legacy that is being planned, is the fulfillment of an old desire to create a project for the recovery of trails and environmental awareness, so important in actions of the Brou family. Adventures from the beginning of its history.
“I believe that this opportunity that we are having, especially if we consider that the first steps are being taken in Serra da Canastra, has transformative potential not only for the environment, but mainly for the people who will accompany and be part of this awareness at all times. places on the planet. A package that we manage to prevent from being left in the environment will already be a powerful feeling of victory for us.”
