Film from the new campaign addresses the welcoming of people from the community through authentic stories
Burger King announces the launch of a campaign to celebrate Pride Month. The film, conceived by A-Lab, addresses the reception of people from the LGBTQIAPN+ community through authentic stories.
The video tells the story of people in the community who received support from their families, in contrast to people who did not find this welcome at home. These are emotional testimonials that demonstrate that it is the family who welcomes and that bring the counterpoint to a sad statistic: according to the 2022 Datafolha survey, 35% of the LGTBQIAPN+ group reports prejudice and hostility in the family environment. The brand supports Casa Neon Cunha, a space that welcomes LGBTQIAPN+ people expelled from their homes and/or homeless, and invites its followers to get to know the work of the institution.
With the film, Burger King stands alongside these people in providing support, and works to contribute, together with Casa Neon, to the literacy of the population in matters related to the LGBTQIAPN+ community and stimulating family ties.
