Need a tip to unleash your creativity? Meet Shuffles, Pinterest’s new standalone app, offering a powerful and engaging way to create collages and digital art to express ideas, right from your phone.
Reaching almost everywhere in the world you can find Pinterest, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Italy, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Peru and Spain, app generated quite a stir when it was first released on the App Store in 2022. The app allows users to crop, overlay and add elements, animations and images from their own camera or from Pins is the platform.
Developed by the innovative team at Pinterest’s TwoTwenty incubator, Shuffles is based on object recognition technology and Pins related items, facilitating the visualization of any item (from planning the next outfit of the day, the popular #OOTD, to the design of a redecorated living room and plans for the future). O app it was also a finalist for the 2023 Apple Design Award, in the Interaction Winners category.
“Shuffles is a key part of helping us extend Pinterest’s mission, which is to inspire people to create a life they love. Over the past ten months, we’ve loved seeing shufflers take their Pinterest content and turn it into something new on the app, planning outfits or home projects, composing mood boards and manifesting their dreams, creating collages, digital arts and animations. Since day one, we’ve heard Pinners around the world asking for access to Shuffles, and we’re happy to share that we’re expanding the app to even more countries and regions,” says Ken Saathoff, TwoTwenty Product Manager.
The app works like this: log into your Pinterest account and cut objects from your camera, Pins and boards, or search for new Pins; create a collage using backgrounds, images, pictures, stickers and words; add effects and movement to increase the fun; and save your creation for yourself, on your Pinterest profile or share it with your friends.
Shuffles is currently available to iOS users in 42 countries, including Brazil. The news arrived here at the beginning of this month. Wassup have you tested it? We loved it!

This is not the first novelty that Pinterest brings to Brazil this year. At the beginning of May, the platform also announced the arrival of Pinterest Academy in the national territory, an interactive platform for e-learning which includes everything advertisers need to know to engage and inspire their audience on Pinterest.
The platform was launched in 2019, and today, there are more than 12 courses available, comprising more than 30 easy-to-follow lessons and lasting just 15 minutes.
