Bem Brasil announced that it will be the official sponsor of Oktoberfest 2023, a traditional German festival held annually in Blumenau, Santa Catarina. The event, which estimates the participation of 600,000 people, takes place between October 4th and 22nd.
Potatoes are one of the main typical dishes of German cuisine and, during Oktoberfest, Bem Brasil will organize several activities to present traditional items and the latest launches of the brand to the public. One of the planned actions is Casa Bem Brasil, which will have French fries prepared by German Chef Heiko Grabolle.
“We are increasingly expanding our market share in Santa Catarina and in the southern region. For us, it is a reason for great joy and satisfaction to be present at the Oktoberfest, bringing to the public the best and best-selling frozen pre-fried potato in the country”, he stated. Dnio Oliveira, president of Bem Brasil.
Recently, Bem Brasil further diversified its product mix. From 2021 to 2022, the company almost doubled its sales share in the South Region and, at the end of 2022, reached 50% marketing share in Brazil.
“The event is the biggest gastronomic festival in Brazil, attracting people from all over the country, therefore it becomes part of the company’s calendar of events and already this year, it has a relevant importance in Bem Brasil’s go-to-market strategy, including for launches, that will be present at the Oktoberfest. We want to relate to all the public present and show the strength of the brand, in addition to contributing to cultural appreciation”, added Flvia Naves, responsible for Marketing, Customer Experience and Trade Marketing at Bem Brasil.
