First editions of ‘Os Caminhos da Lenda’ will be released until December
Bridgestone will pay homage to the world and Olympic champion surfer with the series of comics ‘Os Caminhos da Lenda’. The first editions of the work, which tells the surfer’s trajectory, will be released by December, with simultaneous publication on Instagram by @italoferreira and @pneusbridgestone.
The first two stories available are Amm and The Plank That Wasn’t a Plank.
Conceived in partnership with VMLY&R, the series of comics has illustrations signed by Renato Cunha and are handmade.
“Italo reminds us of the great comic book heroes, who go through a lot to defeat the villain, there’s always something going wrong and he’s still on his feet. Never forgetting where he came from. This inspired us to get our hands dirty and tell every detail of this legend’s story”, says Paulinho Duarte, creative director of VMLY&R.
