Pursuit of fame and scolding for eating bread inspired network opportunity posts
Yesterday (25) was elimination day at Big Brother Brazil, which moved social networks a lot. But McDonald’s also made waves with opportunity actions involving two participants.
One of them was with the participant Luciano – eliminated with 49.31% of the votes. Interestingly, the young man became ‘famous’ for wanting to be famous. In one of the many times he talked about this dream, Luciano said he wanted to be famous to the point of “not being able to sit at McDonald’s to eat a snack and people keep asking for a photo”.
The participant’s speech had repercussions, generating several reactions, including the company, which took advantage of the opportunity and joined the conversation. McDonald’s changed its Instagram bio to “the best place for Luciano do BBB fans to ask to take a picture with him”.
The joke of the brand pleased and ended up generating a lot of spontaneous media on news portals, in addition to comments from celebrities.
But it was not just this participant who moved McDonald’s networks. Actor Arthur Aguiar became a meme for not being able to eat bread.
By the stories, his wife, the influencer and ex-BBB Mayra Cardi gave a ‘scolding’ when she saw that he was eating bread in the house. “Baby, you couldn’t have eaten bread! You just destroyed all the work I did on your little body. Twenty pounds gone for nothing? Thirty days battling on that pretty little body for all Brazil to see, and you ate bread? Don’t do it. this,” he said.
Once again, McDonald’s has joined the conversation, this time using the famous formula of ingredients for its main snack.
