CCXP announced the participation of Prime Video, Amazon’s streaming service, as a sponsor and content partner in the 2023 edition of the event.
This will be the brand’s sixth participation in the festival’s history, which will bring panels from its original series and will have a space for activations and interactions with the public.

The relationship between CCXP and Prime Video began in 2018, when the studio brought in actor Ricky Whittle to promote the series “American Gods”, which was about to launch its second season at the time. At the official stand, a space was set up that referred to the official bar of the series, called ‘Jack’s Crocodile Bar’, and costumes from the series “Man in the High Castle” were also displayed.
In 2019, streaming brought to the Thunder Stage the cast of “The Boys”, a series based on the work of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the cast of “Star Trek: Picard” and “The Expanse”. At the event, details of the original series produced in Brazil were revealed, such as “Soltos em Floripa” and “Dom”. During the activation of the pavilion, a carousel was made that put the public in contact with the characters of “American Gods”, in addition to scenery from “The Boys”, “Carnival Row”, “The Expanse” and “Star Trek: Picard”. .
In 2020, during CCXP Worlds, the festival’s digital label, the service exclusively announced “Invincible”, with the presence of Steven Yeun, JK Simmons, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Zachary Quinto and Robert Kirkman. The panel for “The Wilds” series featured creator and executive producer Sarah Streicher, executive producer Amy B. Harris and a cast including Rachel Griffiths, Reign Edwards and Sarah Pidgeon. The last panel was dedicated to the sixth season of “The Expanse”, with the participation of Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham and Cara Gee.
At CCXP Worlds 21, Prime Video brought special content from “A Roda do Tempo”, with actors Rosamund Pike and Álvaro Morte. There was also a special message from actor Karl Urban, from “The Boys”, in addition to the announcement of the animation “The Boys: Diabolical”, with the participation of Awkwafina and Andy Samberg. Closing this panel, Sir Patrick Stewart joined Michelle Hurd and John De Lancie to promote the second season of “Star Trek: Picard”.
CCXP22, the return to face-to-face edition after two years of the pandemic, featured panels on Palco Thunder and Palco Ultra. Within the activation set up by the studio, fans were able to immerse themselves in the universe of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”. In addition, Prime Video brought an immersive area of ”The Boys” and the chance to experience the powers of the great Moraine from “The Wheel of Time”.
