To two longtime friends who are also tattoo artists to celebrate the dates
On July 20th, we celebrate not only Friend’s Day but also Tattoo Artist’s Day. For this reason, Medix, in partnership with Ogilvy Brasil, created the “Tattoo de AMG” action: the brand and the agency invited two tattoo artists who are longtime friends, Pedro Tincher and Deborah Insfran, to register a symbol of their friendship, one on the other’s skin. The design chosen was an AMG Luvinha, an item that is always present in his works.
“For us at Medix, it is essential to have these genuine connections with our consumers, both Pedro and Deborah are consumers of our products in their work, and this campaign comes as a way of showing how we are part of their routine and history. The AMG Tattoo action is a tribute to those who build their trajectories and let Medix participate”, Dbora Bernardo, communication coordinator at Medix.
The action will be broadcast on Medix’s social channels and the concept was created as a way of making a game and an exchange with the term “amg”, which is the slang for “friend” and the technical term for gloves, in this case, Medix gloves.
“From an engagement perspective, we took the opportunity to awaken the public’s identification, thousands of people have already thought about getting a tattoo with their best friend and we, together with a couple of tattoo artists, came up with an idea that not only referred to the brand but also made a lot of sense in their lives.
