Campaign seeks to expand the scope of the Pelourinho International Literary Festival
Momentum, together with the CCR Institute, announce the campaign “Traveling along the Paths of Culture”, in support of the International Literary Festival of Pelourinho (Flipel) and Fundao Casa Jorge Amado, of which the Institute is the sponsor. The initiative promotes a series of activities at airports in Brazil, a special event at the Museu das Favelas that highlights the importance of Brazilian culture and literature, in addition to giving a taste of what is to come at the great literary festival that will take place from August 9th to 13th, in Salvador.
Passengers will have the opportunity to experience an instagrammable and interactive space in the check-in area at the airports in Curitiba, Goinia, So Lus and Foz do Iguau, where they can take pictures and share their experiences on social networks. In addition, the activation features an interactive book, featuring the stories of the renowned writer Jorge Amado transformed into sung stories, recorded by the talented Cris Gouveia. These activations aim to democratize access to culture, taking the Flipel event throughout Brazil.
We are proud to participate in Flipel’s history and promote Bahian culture throughout Brazil, which also means democratizing access to our country’s culture, says Jssica Trevisam, CCR Institute’s social responsibility manager.
To further enrich the campaign, Momentum promoted a special event at the Favelas Museum in So Paulo, last Friday (July 14). The guests had the opportunity to participate in a conversation with the Bahian writer Itamar Vieira Jnior, author of the acclaimed books “Torto Arado” and “Salvar o Fogo”, alongside the renowned Alagoan poet José Incio Vieira Melo. The event also featured autograph sessions and a performance by the Instituto Baccarelli String Quartet, providing a unique and engaging cultural experience.
Among the special guests were Paloma Jorge Amado, author and daughter of the late writer Jorge Amado, and Angela Fraga and Ticiano Martins, representatives of Fundao Casa de Jorge Amado, who have played a key role in preserving and disseminating the author’s literary legacy.
The ‘Traveling through the Paths of Culture’ campaign is an exciting opportunity to unite literature, music and culture, bringing these experiences to travelers at airports and to the general public at the event at Museu das Favelas, says Caroline Ciarleglio, VP of Momentum.
