Adsmovil advertisers will be able to measure the impact generated by emissions from their advertising campaigns
Adsmovil has extended its commitment to reducing environmental impact and offsetting carbon dioxide emissions generated by its clients’ advertising campaigns by planting 100,000 trees over the next three years. Thanks to this measure, it will be possible to potentially capture 31,000 tons of carbon over the next 10 years.
Through collaboration with Scope3, Adsmovil will be able to measure, understand and quantify the impact generated by emissions from the energy consumed in the use of servers that display and deliver its advertisements. These emissions vary depending on the devices used and the campaign formats.
This new agreement adds to the company’s commitment to the Saving The Amazon foundation, which has been developing restoration and conservation projects in the Amazon for more than 10 years, through which Adsmovil has planted more than 10,000 trees in its effort to mitigate the carbon generated by company and its clients’ digital advertising companies. In the future, Adsmovil will expand its reforestation actions in other parts of the planet.
“This initiative is part of our overall goal regarding environmental responsibility and contributes to the fight against climate change, as we believe that every action counts in creating a sustainable future for future generations. We are excited about the positive change we can achieve together and we hope that our initiative inspires other companies to join our search for a greener and healthier world”, says Alberto Pardo, CEO and founder of Adsmovil.
These projects are supported by a management and administration system that allows monitoring the development and preservation of trees. On the other hand, the methodology for measuring carbon capture for planted native species, as well as their growth stage, is being audited by KPMG.
