State tool changes format, expands curation and announces new partners
Developed with the aim of facilitating the consumer journey, Estado Recomenda announces changes to its format. The portal will continue to provide product reviews, but now with better navigation on the site and a greater diversity of retail segments, a result driven by the arrival of some brands, such as Mercado Livre, Casas Bahia and Americanas, in addition to Amazon and Girafa, with whom they already worked. .
“We value the reader’s trust, with total impartiality from our journalists when recommending products. Our mission is to make searching and making purchasing decisions easier, and recent changes – such as the new portal and addition of trusted stores – contribute to this experience”, says Matheus Morato, product owner at Estado Recomenda.
The portal’s contents are developed using different formats, ranging from lists of the best items in a product segment to gift recommendations for special dates. In an impartial manner, the journalists responsible for Estado Recomenda examine the quality, performance and other relevant factors to understand whether each item is worth the recommendation. In some cases, the team also receives products from suppliers for organic analysis – resulting in a positive or negative score.
The tool maintains its value of not having paid articles, valuing impartiality and reader trust in its reviews. However, the new approach also aims to provide greater space for more brands interested in affiliate marketing and also advertising displays, which will be marked as advertising, displayed across the website’s pages without any link to the reviews.
Today, there are already more than 70 recommended e-commerces, and all of them have undergone a screening of relevance to the public, evaluations of their products and online sales experience. Some of the new names in this group include marketplaces, such as FastShop, focused on electronics, and Casas Bahia, in general categories. Others have their own websites, such as Nike, Natura and Ellus, which also increases the channel’s portfolio of possible recommendations. The site has the support of traditional affiliate intermediaries, such as Awin and Rakuten, for relationships with some brands, which guarantees greater security and diversity in the catalog of recommended stores.
Now, the site seeks to become a reference channel for reliability, on a daily basis, helping the reader with purchasing decisions, on commemorative dates such as Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, and especially during events such as Black Friday, in which 22% of frauds in e-commerce are concentrated.
