Journalists, reputation managers and spokesperson training specialists. These are Patrcia Marins and Miriam Moura, who are the authors of the book Far beyond Media Training, the spokesperson in the hyperconnection era. The unprecedented publication, inspired by 20 years of experience and more than 12 thousand executives and public managers trained, it will be launched in São Paulo (SP) and Brasília (DF) in the next few days.
Throughout their careers, both have had the experience of preparing a majority of men, senior executives or powerful people in the public sector, for true communication, more efficient and capable of generating a connection with their audiences.
Published by Editora Aberje, the book discusses this accumulated experience, including techniques and insights, in addition to analyzes and interviews, in ten chapters on different topics. An important guide for anyone who wants to delve deeper into the universe of communication.
According to Patrícia, nowadays, it is not enough to be an experienced manager without knowing how to communicate effectively.
To survive the complex and adverse scenario of the post-pandemic and highly polarized world, where fake news arise all the time, communication became a high skill, and executives had to prepare for any and all exposure, internal or external, he explains.
J Miriam states that transformational executives are exceptional communicators, and quotes an excerpt from an article recently published in Harvard Business Review by writer Carmine Gallo: You can have the best idea in the world, but if you can’t persuade anyone to follow your vision, your influence and impact will be greatly reduced.
Composed of ten chapters, the work covers themes such as Communication power in the globalized world, Conquering space in the media, The multimedia world, Challenges of post-truth, The role of the spokesperson, Or what news?, The construction of the speech, Crisis: how to avoid, Social networks: how to expose without exposing yourself and The practice of contradiction. The launch has two dates scheduled: in So Paulo, on the 25th, and in Brasilia, on the 2nd of October. On the days of the events, purchased copies can also be autographed.
