Campaign “We take care of tomatoes” reinforces the importance of traceability in your portfolio
In line with its mission to feed the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way, Cargill highlights the importance of traceability in the company’s tomato portfolio. With traceability, it is possible to know the origin, trajectory and all the care involved until the product is finalized.
To differentiate itself in terms of healthiness and naturalness, Pomarola’s new campaign, entitled “We care about tomatoes”, highlights all the process improvements carried out by Cargill throughout the product’s life cycle, including the reduction in the use of additives and preservatives.
“With the calls “Our tomatoes are like children: they come from work, but they fill us with pride” and “We guarantee ourselves with tomatoes so you can guarantee ourselves on our plates” we want to reinforce our involvement in the journey of caring for food from the field to the table, through a modern language for our consumers who like to enjoy a good meal in a practical and tasty way”, highlights Esdras Junior, marketing director of Food Solutions at Cargill América do Sul.
“This approach is a way to increase consumer confidence, who remains interested in the origin of food and the sustainable actions of companies. With our new campaign, we reinforce that tomatoes are our specialty and we are committed to complying with 100% traceability of each fruit processed, with the intention of promoting transparency and generating total confidence that the consumer will have the best possible product with healthiness, flavor and responsibility”, says Marcio Barela, Sustainability coordinator at Cargill.
Along with this, Cargill’s sustainability team also presents its work aimed at protecting the environment, without compromising the productivity and efficiency of the production chain.
