Fila announces its remaining as official sponsor of the Rio Open, a tennis tournament in South America, for another three seasons.
Furthermore, to celebrate 10 years since the event arrived in Brazil, the brand will also launch a collection of clothing and accessories.
“The 2024 edition of the Rio Open will be special due to the tournament’s 10th anniversary, and having Fila by our side once again will be very important for us to celebrate this milestone together. The renewal of the brand’s official sponsorship of the Rio Open for more three years further strengthens one of the main partnerships existing in tennis and Brazilian sport as a whole”, said Marcia Casz, general director of the Rio Open.
Hosted at the Jockey Club Brasileiro, in Rio de Janeiro, the Rio Open has already promoted nine editions, with Fila as a partner for six consecutive years to date. In 2024, the brand will once again be at the event showing products that represent the sports lifestyle at the Pop Up Store Tennis Social Club.
Among the launches promoted by the brand will be the global launch of the Mondo Forza line, sneakers made with sustainable materials and developed to deliver high performance on the courts.

In the last edition of the event, FILA promoted a series of actions such as experiences on the Rio Open courts with brand ambassador Fernando Meligeni, autograph sessions with sponsored athletes, Luisa Stefani, Rafa Matos, Felipe Meligeni, Marcelo Demoliner, Diego Schwartzman, between others. The brand also organized Beach Tennis clinics in Leblon with Alex Mingozzi, running training with ultramarathon runner Laurindo Nunes and the Filacast web series with the presence of athletes and influencers.
At the time, Fila also presented the Float Verve model, which features cushioning and stability technology for tennis courts.
