You, lovers of wine and design, won’t believe this news: the Uruguayan group Vik Retreats is preparing to establish its presence in Brazil, in partnership with the construction and development company Luan Investimentos! The brand founded by billionaire couple Alex and Carrie Vik, which has exclusive wineries and hotels in hand-picked landscapes around the world, plansbuild a luxury development in Araoiaba da Serra (SP), a region with extensive vegetation, less than two hours from the capital of São Paulo, in the corridor of luxury condominiums on the Castelo Branco highway.
The project, which will have a total investment of R$100 million, should begin construction next year, with delivery expected by 2027. Vik Retreats is known for its luxury developments, and this will be the seventh hotel in its portfolio. The group is careful in choosing locations and takes years to announce new projects, ensuring that each project is truly unique. They stand out for offering limited suites, but intimate and well-decorated living areas.
The choice to expand the business to Brazil was influenced by the importance of the national market, which represents 30% of guests at Vik hotels and 20% of consumers of its wines. Brazilians are seen as consumers open to the luxury market and experiences involving wine, art, gastronomy, design and hospitality. AND Dre you know that too!
More than a brand, an establishment and a service, Dreo was born from the concept of experiencing experiences with comfort and exclusivity. Therefore, it has a concierge to harmonize the perfect label with your profile or special moment, which can be anything. It doesn’t matter if you have a deep understanding of wine or are just a big fan of the drink, Dreo has the label you’re looking for (including Vik Retreats’ exclusive wines).
The new development in Araoiaba da Serra will consist of a hotel with 20 to 30 suites, in addition to 10 glass bungalows attached to the main building. In addition, there will be around 500 private lots for sale for the construction of private residences. Residents and guests will have access to amenities such as a golf course, a swimming pool with artificial waves and a large horse stud. A vineyard will be planted on most of the land.
The hotel will be decorated with works by local and international artists, providing a unique experience for guests. Although daily rates have not yet been defined, they will probably be in the range of those charged at Vik hotels in Chile, which vary between R$2,000 and R$7,000 per night. Vik Retreats plans to bring a Brazilian atmosphere to the hotel, ensuring that each room is unique.
So, are you prepared to live this experience?
