Street League Skateboarding (SLS) confirmed the holding of the SLS Super Crown World Championship, presented by BB Seguros, in Brazil for the second year in a row.
In 2023, the dispute for the world street skate title of the season will take place at the Ginsio do Ibirapuera, in So Paulo and will be promoted by 213 Sports, carried out by the Brazilian Sports and Social Educational Association (AEESB) and approved by CBSk (Brazilian Confederation of Skateboarding).
The SLS Super Crown World Championship presented by BB Seguros will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of December and tickets will go on sale to the general public from this Wednesday (27th), at 2pm.
The Brazilian public is one of the most passionate about skateboarding in the world. Our three medals won at the Tokyo Olympic Games and the presence of our country’s great idols at last year’s SLS Championship Tour significantly increased the number of interested parties and fans of skateboarding in Brazil. It is a privilege to work together with SLS, AEESB and CBSk to facilitate another grand final in Brazil, said Pedro Dau de Mesquita, Co-CEO and Commercial Director of 213 Sports.
Presented by BB Seguros, the event is also sponsored by brands such as Cerveja Tiger and BAW Clothing, which join the SLS team of global partners made up of Accelerator Active Energy, Cariuma, Tech Deck, G-SHOCK, True Skate and Rumble , in addition to institutional support from the Ministry of Sports of the Federal Government and the Sports Secretariat of the Government of São Paulo and approval from CBSk.
We are excited to once again announce our sponsorship of the SLS Super Crown. This partnership represents BB Seguros’ commitment to promoting sport and urban culture. We value the dedication and talent of the athletes involved, and we believe in the power of sport as an agent of transformation. For BB Seguros, investing in skateboarding will not only support exceptional talents, but also promote values of inclusion, diversity and sustainability, reinforcing our commitment to ESG issues, says Ullisses Assis, president of BB Seguros.
