The campaign will convert every hour played into donations of R$50 to the Instituto Gerando Falces
The Walt Disney Company Brazil presented its campaign aimed at Children’s Day 2023, entitled “Play and Donate”, which aims to encourage families to spend quality time and play together.
With the action, Disney will transform hours spent playing into donations of R$50 to the Instituto Gerando Falces and offer the possibility of virtual participation, with posts on social networks using the hashtag #DisneyBrincarEDoar during moments of family fun. Each post represents an hour of play, allowing families to participate directly from their homes.
The campaign will also make 10 physical Disney Play and Donate spaces available in selected toy stores throughout Brazil. These spaces will be equipped with recreation areas and timers, which will be in capitals such as So Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Brasilia, Recife, Salvador, Manaus, among others. When entering the space to play, the countdown will begin, recording the hours for donations.
Disney Brasil will install a “Toymeter” on Avenida Paulista, at number 1776, consisting of an information panel where it will be possible to view the total hours played and the corresponding amount in reais that will be donated to the Gerando Falces Institute.
To increase the campaign’s visibility, on the last two Sundays of the month, the “Brinquedmetro” location will be the stage for two Blitz Rdio Disney actions. These actions will feature quizzes, live prizes and sweepstakes, all in partnership with Radio Disney.
