The Walt Disney Company Brasil presents the Play and Donate campaign for Children’s Day 2023. With the aim of encouraging families to spend quality time and play together, on this Children’s Day Disney will transform hours spent playing into donations. Every hour played will be donated to R$50.00 for the Instituto Gerando Falces – a social development ecosystem that accelerates the impact power of favela leaders through sport, culture, professional qualifications, economic development and citizenship.
The Disney Play and Donate campaign offers the possibility of virtual participation, with posts on social networks using the hashtag #DisneyBrincarANDDoar during moments of family fun. Each post represents an hour of play, allowing families to participate directly from their homes.
Additionally, the campaign will make 10 physical spaces available Disney Brincar e Dora in selected toy stores throughout Brazil. These spaces will be equipped with recreation areas and timers, which will be in capitals such as So Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Brasilia, Recife, Salvador, Manaus, among others. When entering the space to play, the countdown will begin, recording the hours for donations.
Disney will install a “Toymeter” on Avenida Paulista, in So Paulo, at number 1776. It is an information panel where it will be possible to view the total hours played and the corresponding amount in reais that will be donated to the Instituto Gerando Falces . To increase the campaign’s visibility, on the last two Sundays of the month, the “Brinquedmetro” location will be the stage for two Blitz Rdio Disney actions. These actions will have quizzes, live prizes and sweepstakes, all in partnership with Radio Disney.
