The play signed by D’OM Solues Improvveis and starring two young athletes, Heloisa and Pedro
The last weekend was marked by the final of the Copa do Brasil 2023, which consecrated So Paulo as champions in a game with more than 63 thousand people at the Ccero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium, known as the Morumbi stadium, to follow the sport that moves passions and dreams.
With this in mind, Continental Pneus, sponsor of the competition for nine years, announced the launch of the “Sonhos Possveis” campaign, led by two fans, Heloisa and Pedro. The piece was created by D’OM Solues Improvveis.
“Despite being the dream of millions of children across the country, the number of those who become football professionals is small, as the funnel of Brazilian football’s youth categories is very narrow. So, nothing better than inviting a great athlete like Formiga to inspire, advise and train with these children. We even had the opportunity to take them for the first time to a football stadium to experience the atmosphere of such a special moment as a decisive game”, explained Leandro Ramiro, head of marketing at Continental Pneus.
Heloiza de Souza, “Formiga”, is 9 years old, has been playing football since she was 4 and, every day, she spends around 4h30 on public transport to get to and from Guarulhos, in the metropolitan area of São Paulo, to the training sites, held in Ibirapuera and São Caetano do Sul. Pedro Miguel, aged 10, has the dream of being a professional player and left his family in Cear to live in São Paulo with his aunt so he could play football.
To maintain the young people’s determination, the company took Heloiza and Pedro for surprise training and mentoring with Formiga, a former Brazilian national team athlete.
