Awards held between November 14th and 16th, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, entries will be accepted until October 6th
The El Ojo de Iberoamérica International Festival, which will take place between November 14th and 16th, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has just announced the jury presidents, in addition to extending the deadline for submitting works. The final date for submitting cases has been rescheduled for October 6th, the last chance to register, which can be done through the award’s official website.
This year, El Ojo de Iberoamrica will be sponsored by MediaMonks, Disney, Dentsu Creative, Hogarth, R/GA, Wunderman Thompson, Havas, DDB Latina, LLYC, TBWA, McCann Worldgroup, VMLY&R and VMLY&R Commerce.
Marco Giannelli Pernil, from Almap-BBDO; Marina Pires, from MediaMonks Brasil; Bernardo Romero, who works at KlickHealth New York; and Marcia Esteves, from LewLara\TBWA, are the professionals who will represent Brazil among the festival’s jury presidents. In total, five categories will have Brazilians in charge of judging the projects.
The mission is to choose the best ideas and works from Latin America. The recognitions will be delivered in person at the La Rural Convention Center, located in the Palermo neighborhood, in the Argentine capital.

Chief creative officer (CCO) of AlmapBBDO, Marco Giannelli Pernil will lead the decision for El Ojo Via Pblica. With more than 25 years of experience, he worked at Leo Burnett Brasil and Fisher America in Portugal, in addition to having worked at LewLara\TBWA, FCB, Rapp Collins and Ogilvy. Since arriving at AlmapBBDO, the agency has been recognized four times as the Best Ibero-American Agency in El Ojo (2008, 2012, 2015 and 2016). The executive’s contribution was fundamental for the agency’s work to win awards such as the Gran Ojo Contedo 2020, with Coma – A Getty Images Original Series, the Gran Ojo Grfica and the Gran Ojo Produo Digital 2016, with Infinitas possibilities.
Inovao e Creative Data
Marina Pires, senior vice-president and administrative director of MediaMonks Brasil, will be in charge of El Ojo Inovao and El Ojo Creative Data.
Over the last 20 years, the executive has worked and led multidisciplinary teams to create and deliver innovative communications and strategies to her clients. Currently, she leads a group of more than 230 creatives at MediaMonks So Paulo.

Marcia Esteves, partner and CEO of LewLara\TBWA, will preside over the El Ojo Media jury. With more than 20 years of experience in the agency market, the executive works in building brands and, throughout her career, has been directly involved in projects that resulted in important awards. Today, Marcia is president of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies (Abap), vice-president of the Amcham Council, advisor to the Network of Women Entrepreneurs and the National Forum of Women Entrepreneurs.
Sade & Pharma
Bernardo Romero, CCO of Klick Health New York, will direct the judging process for the pieces entered in the new El Ojo Sade & Pharma category.
The professional joined Klick Health as a maker in May 2022 with the challenge of improving the elaboration, storytelling and prototyping of creative solutions for clients across the health and well-being spectrum.
At Klick Health, Romero collaborates to expand the operations of the office located in São Paulo, alongside Roberta Raduan, after the agency announced its recent global expansion.
