Celebratory film signed by the agency Ogilvy Brasil
As part of Petrobras’ 70th anniversary celebration, the company released a film. Produced by the Ogilvy agency, it was titled “The Energy of Tomorrow”, and has a script where the trajectory of Petrobras is narrated to viewers at different times, and to enhance this story, the short takes as its soundtrack the song “Pra Gente Acordar “, by the Gilsons trio, adapted especially for the company’s anniversary.
“The film celebrates seven decades of Petrobras’ passion for our country, honoring those who shaped our journey and looking with determination towards a sustainable horizon. A new era in the company, which now focuses on the fair energy transition, focusing on reducing emissions and new sources of energy. a tribute to our history and an inspiration for tomorrow. In every note of the Gilsons’ soundtrack, we find the perfect harmony between our legacy and the energy that will guide us towards the future”, declared the brand manager and advertising for Petrobras, Ana Claudia Esteves.
The opening scenes of the film take place at the company’s founding in 1953 and, from that point on, the character from the future, who is a Petrobras employee, observes the evolution of the brand, and as the years go by, one notices the main events, such as : Campos Basin and deep water exploration; biologists carrying out tasks for the Humpback whale project; first pre-salt oil, among others, which today ends with the brand’s current official slogan “Brasil A Nossa Energia”.
Ogilvy’s creative duo, B Brando and Gabriella Pimentel, emphasize, “The creative choice was to materialize this vision of tomorrow with a character that comes from the future, but, in a way, pays homage to the past.”

The anniversary film begins to be shown on Petrobras’ digital platforms and as advertising on open and closed TV from Tuesday (3).
