Initiative aims to accelerate innovation and new business by exploring technologies and new products
SBT opened a space inside the Centro Universitário Facens, to foster the broadcaster’s pillar of innovation.
The purpose of the new space is to integrate professionals and content that address the exploration of new technologies, the development of apps, games, augmented realities, virtual realities and products linked to 5G.
Activities will be restricted to SBT employees, Facens students and companies in the segment. Among the projects that will be accelerated in space is SBT Games, the broadcaster’s games vertical.
The entire production of the featured room is directly linked to SBT’s innovation area, commanded by Fernando Pensado, Head of Innovation at the station. “This space will make it possible to further accelerate the various initiatives and innovations that SBT has adopted in recent years. The strategic partnership with Facens will help SBT to explore the different opportunities that 5G will open up and who will benefit from this are SBT stakeholders”, said Pensado.
The partnership between SBT and Facens has been in existence for three years. “We are very excited about this new step in the partnership between Facens and SBT. After 3 years of developing different games, having an exclusive space for the broadcaster within the campus will not only make it possible to strengthen relationships, but also to expand our possibilities of mutual collaboration”, said Ellis Menasce, Business Director at IP Facens.
As a new opportunity to generate brand experience and create an exclusive agenda, improvements and optimizations in SBT’s digital transformation process will also be practiced during the activities. The place will also provide solutions for the “tasting” of some SBT initiatives, such as proprietary games already available to the public.
