The country finished Cannes Lions 2023 with 92 Lees, including a Titanium, a trophy that was won again
The Lions Creativity Report was released this Thursday (5), a document released annually with the main insights and trends and, above all, the ranking of agencies and brands.
This year, at Cannes Lions, Brazil won 92 Lions, one Titanium, two Grand Prix, 11 Gold, 28 Silver and 50 Bronze, surpassing the 70 trophies won last year (in 2019 there were 85 awards and, in 2020/2021, 68) .
In the ranking of Agencies of the Year, published in the Lions Creativity Report, the news for Brazil was the presence of Africa Creative in tenth place. The top three were Gut Buenos Aires, Publicis Conseil (Paris) and Adam&EveDDB, from London.
In the list of Independent Agencies, Brazil is represented with Gut SP, in fifth position. The winner was Gut Buenos Aires, followed by Rethink, from Toronto, and Wieden+Kennedy, from Portland (USA). See the complete ranking below.
In the Communication Groups category, the ranking was completed as follows: Omnicom, WPP, Interpublic Group, Publicis Groupe, Dentsu Group, Havas, Hakuhodo DY, Stagwell, Plus Company and S4 Capital.
In relation to the most creative brands of 2023, according to Cannes Lions, the list brought Apple, Dove and Heineken in the top 3. The ranking continues with Heinz, Mastercard, the Uruguayan PedidosYa, Nike, McDonald’s, Michelob Ultra and Microsoft.
In the top 10 in the Independent Network category of the year are Gut, W+K, Rethink, Special, Serviceplan, Edelman, Mother, Fred & Farid and Jung Von Matt.
