Asaph Luccas arrives to reinforce the cast of producers made up of Rog Souza, Camila Cornelsen and Rodrigo de Paula
Tropical Filmes announced the arrival of Asaph Luccas as the house’s new stage director. She will reinforce the cast of producers made up of Rog Souza, Camila Cornelsen and Rodrigo de Paula.
Director, screenwriter and multidisciplinary artist, Asaph built her career in advertising, working for production companies such as Rebolucion and agencies such as W+K and Africa.
“As a filmmaker who is also trans and black, I needed to qualify in multiple areas of creativity to find my place in the market. From plastic arts to cool hunting, from script to art direction, from production to finalization. I have never limited myself to a single creative area and I see this as a differentiator when it comes to telling a good story”, said Asaph.
Today, the director’s portfolio brings together campaigns for brands Avon, Meta, Burger King and Netflix, as well as participation in the creative process of other advertisers such as Natura, Ambev (Budweiser, Brahma), Vivo, Ita, Marisa and BRF.
“Asaph’s trajectory and repertoire are inspiring and give it a unique perspective.
