Staying at Mnica’s house? Yes, now you can! One of the attractions commemorating 60 years of the shorty is Casa da Mnica, which came directly from the pages of comic books for a Airbnb in São Pedro, in the interior of São Paulo. From 2pm this Thursday (12th), anyone can book a stay at the house, which is decorated with special details for Mônica’s fans. Furthermore, the first person to make the reservation will be able to bring two companions to share this unique experience. So, set your alarm clock!

It’s time for congratulations!
How about a surprise party? In joint development with the design company YDreams Global, MSP prepared the project Munich Surprise Party, which passed through several Iguatemi Network shopping malls and is currently at its last stop, Praia de Belas Shopping, in Porto Alegre (RS). Debuting in May this year at Shopping Iguatemi Alphaville, in So Paulo (SP), the activation features nine interactive environments, such as Magali’s kitchen and Mônica’s room, where everyone can have fun experiencing the activities of the Limoeiro neighborhood from the comic books. .

The rabbit that doesn’t go out of style
Reinventing a look as iconic as Coelho Sanso’s can be a huge challenge, but Brazilian designers Camilla Macedo, Ronaldo Fraga, Luiza Mallmann and others were willing to take it on. With a total of 30 creations that offer a new vision of Mônica’s plush, the exhibition Cole Sanso was initially carried out between May and July in Shopping SP Marketand in building 12 of the E-business Park, in So Paulo, during the second half of August.

Owner of the Street, the Avenue, the big and small screens
Cebolinha can even try numerous foolproof plans, but never take away from Mnica the title of Dona da Lua, or better said, Rua. In the gable of the Liege Building, located on Rua da Consolão, also in São Paulo, the whole gang, including Louco and Jotalho, got together for a special comic strip to celebrate the character’s 60th birthday.

In addition to this tribute, Mnica also became an attraction in one of the most iconic places in the city: the Paulista Avenue. With the right to a giant Sanso, the action Giant Rabbits took the famous blue plush to the top of the Conjunto Nacional commercial building.

She dominates not only the streets, but also television and cinema! With a total gross of more than R$30 million at the box office, the two films directed by Daniel Rezende, Monica’s Gang: Laos e Turma da Mnica: Lies, won the hearts of the public. Additionally, fans were able to enjoy the cast again in Turma da Mônica: The Seriesavailable on Globoplay. The series is a continuation of the second film, where the gang gets involved in an investigation to find out who sabotaged Carminha Frufru’s party.
Although the original cast of the films and series received praise from specialized critics, highlighting the harmony of the actors and how each one perfectly incorporated the characteristics of their characters, this was not enough to prevent everyone from being replaced by other actors in the new film. folks, Turma da Mônica Jovem: Reflections of Fear. The feature-length film will tell the story of the gang as teenagers, as they uncover mysteries and magic in the Limoeiro neighborhood.

In our (always humble) opinion, Mônica deserves each of these gifts for having impacted so many generations across the country. Nothing is fairer than recognizing the importance of this and all of Maurcio de Sousa’s characters, who taught us and continue to teach us fundamental lessons and values for life with innocence, sensitivity and lots and lots of fun.
