Brand celebrates launch of acclaimed game franchise
Warner Bros. Games stickered the subways of So Paulo with the aim of bringing entertainment to everyone who travels through the Pinheiros and Repblica stations. The station lock doors feature images of the franchise’s characters to reinforce the launch of “Mortal Kombat 1”.
“Creating an Out Of Home campaign for a title as recognized as Mortal Kombat 1 was a very rich experience for the entire team. We sought to bring to the public of the São Paulo subway some of the most iconic elements of this franchise that has been around for over 30 years, such as the presence of classic characters: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang and much more. The action, in addition to being nostalgic, shows the graphics of Mortal Kombat 1. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, “Mortal Kombat 1” introduces a new beginning for the franchise with a reborn Universe, created by Fire God Liu Kang, featuring iconic heroes and villains reimagined in ways they have never been seen before. The traditional Story Mode offers a new cinematic narrative, with new relationships, twists on classic rivalries and original stories for a wide cast of characters.
