In addition to encouraging athletes, the agreement includes the brand’s exhibition in the space dedicated to women’s sports in São Paulo
Visa announced the sponsorship of Nossa Arena, a space dedicated to women’s sports in São Paulo. The agreement is part of the company’s commitment to supporting projects that drive gender equality globally, including sports.
The partnership includes, in addition to encouraging football athletes, exposure of the Visa brand in the space, in addition to the use of the location for events and promotion of activities to encourage sports within and outside the company.
“Visa has a history of more than two decades of supporting women in sport, and it is important that we encourage initiatives that help us achieve this goal of gender equality through it. That is why we teamed up with Nossa Arena, which has been doing a great job in supporting practice of women’s football in São Paulo and reinforces the importance of continuing to attract more investment and audience to the sport, training new generations of athletes”, said Mariana Dinis, Executive Director of Marketing at Visa.
As part of the sponsorship, Nossa Arena will be equipped with two graffiti murals signed by Soberana Ziza that will feature representations of black players in activities on the pitch.
“We were born with a very clear and non-negotiable purpose of being a safe and welcoming space capable of promoting sports practice for girls, women and trans people. Receiving the support of a brand like Visa, which for so many years has seen the importance of promoting sport for everyone, a very special recognition and an investment that will certainly boost the impact we are generating”, added Jlia Vergueiro, founding member of Nossa Arena.
