Futurebrand developed a branding project for the Amigo Supermercados chain to launch an artificial intelligence tool to communicate with customers. “Meu Amigo” was the idea of TIF Comunicao, from Curitiba, which was also responsible for creating the campaign to present the new feature.
In this first phase, the service takes advantage of the GPT Chat database to disseminate company information, such as store addresses and opening hours, e-commerce operations, as well as product recommendations, health, beauty, hygiene tips, recipes and pairing dishes with drinks.
SofIA is the first character in a series of interfaces with which customers will be able to interact. In the second phase, in addition to new personas, integration with e-commerce, the Clube +Amigo relationship program application and service through social networks, among other possibilities, is planned.
“Innovating in retail, such a competitive and strong segment, is very difficult, especially when you are far from large centers, like our case. Offering a customer service service in which the customer rarely goes unanswered, which often happens in the chatbot , taking it to another level of interaction and proximity”, says Eandres Aguiar, marketing director at Amigo Supermercados, which has a chain of 69 stores located in the states of So Paulo, Paran and Mato Grosso do Sul.
“Meu Amigo” emerged from an insight from TIF Comunicação, also responsible for supervising the project’s production with BPA Technologies. The campaign consisted of a film and posts on social media.
