Also according to the report, consumers would be induced to provide their personal data with the promise of obtaining discounts on the prices of products and services, especially medicines.
Senacon reported that it has already started an investigation to investigate the accusations, in addition to evaluating whether RaiaDrogasil is in ‘compliance with data protection laws and consumer rights’. According to the Ministry of Justice, inadequate treatment of this information can have serious implications for the privacy and security of consumers.
